I don't mean to complain..

But recently I've been reminded of another pet peeve that should have been high on the other list. The peeve is when people are 'Flakey'. If you've never heard that term before don't worry, I'm about to break it down. Flakey people will just drop out of a conversation without saying goodbye or giving any kind of closure whatsoever. A fine example of this would be.. say... .. you reply to someone's bulletin on myspace and then they respond back and then you respond again and it turns into a pretty decent conversation. Then, out of the blue, you're still waiting for them to respond to a question you asked them about their birthday party that you guys were planning and .. .. they never respond.. You keep checking your top friends to see if they're still signed on and it says they are but still nothing. (If you just close the window it'll keep you signed in for about 5 minutes before automatically signing you out of myspace/facebook/etc.) So you're sittin' there for 5 minutes waiting for this response but nothing happens, and then, after you refresh the page for the 1200th time you see that they're no longer signed on..
Now maybe that's never happened to you, in which case I applaud your ability to choose your friends wisely, but many of us HAVE gone through that crap and I think everyone would agree that it, for lack of a better word, SUCKS! I mean, how hard would it be to just respond with "Hey, sorry to cut this short but I gotta jet. I'll talk to you more about it later. Peace." .. ? I mean, have the courtesy to at least finish the flippin conversation!.. Myspace isn't the only place where this happens.. I've been 'flaked' during texting, facebook, and AIM.. It almost makes me want to converse with people face to face or over the phone!.. .. .. almost.. ..
